This anonymous ad, found in Australia, "If your camera also sends text messages, thats will explain why your photos are rubish" directs people to GetARealCamera.com.
What do you know, that site redirects to the Olympus website. neat. I don't agree at all. I am a big advocate of the mantra "a camera left at home wont take any photos" - so, if you have the best and most expensive full size (DSLR) camera, you may also tend to leave it at home because its either too cumbersome, or your afraid of theft or damage to your expensive equipment. Guess what, your not even going to have one single photo, rubbish or not. iPhones and other camera enabled mobile phones mean that I have a collection of spontaneous photos that I would otherwise have missed out on. I almost ALWAYS carry my Nikon camera body and a fast prime lens with me where-ever I go, but you can bet my Mobile phone Never leaves my side. The photo below was taken on my iPhone and is one of my most precious - without my mobile phone camera, I wouldnt have this photo to remind me of the memory. Thats my Uncle working on my Harley Davidson, the night we bought it.
